What the app processes

Scrub Before Send analyzes images you choose to inspect metadata, text, faces, QR codes, and barcodes. That analysis, review, rendering, and output verification happen locally on your device. We do not receive your images, their contents, the detected findings, or the clean copies you create.

The app has no account, advertising, tracking, telemetry SDK, or remote image-processing service. Your original image is not overwritten.

Website analytics and consent

We use PostHog to measure anonymous page usage and whether contact-form submissions succeed or fail, but only after you choose Sounds good. We do not send your name, email address, subject, message, images, or app findings to PostHog.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. Choosing No thanks prevents PostHog tracking.

Website data

We do not use marketing cookies. Our hosting, security, and analytics providers may process limited technical information, such as IP address, request data, and security logs, to deliver, measure, and protect the site. We use this information only for site operation, consented analytics, and security.

Support correspondence

If you contact support, we process the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, and message, to respond to your request and maintain necessary support records.

Legal bases and retention

Where the GDPR applies, we process technical website data based on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site. We process consented analytics based on your consent.
